Strengthening Youth-Police Relations: The Launch of the Nigerian Youth Help Desk
In a significant stride towards fostering trust and accountability between Nigerian youths and law enforcement agencies, the Federal Government inaugurated the Nigerian Youth Help Desk on May 17, 2024, in Abuja. This initiative, a collaborative effort between the Federal Ministry of Youth Development and the Ministry of Police Affairs, was spearheaded by Hon. Ayodele Olawande, then Minister of State for Youth Development, and Hajia Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, then Minister of State for Police Affairs.
