Celebrating Two Years of Renewed Hope: President Tinubu’s Transformative Impact on Nigerian Youth

Two years ago, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu stood before the nation with a bold promise: to renew hope, build a thriving economy, ensure inclusiveness, and invest in the untapped potential of Nigeria’s greatest asset her youth.
Today, as we mark the second anniversary of his administration, the results are tangible, the transformation is ongoing, and the future is brighter. In every corner of the nation, young Nigerians are rising equipped, empowered, and engaged thanks to the visionary youth-centered policies and programs spearheaded under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Driving National Impact Through Youth Initiatives
Under President Tinubu’s leadership, we have prioritized youth development as a central strategy for economic growth, national security, and sustainable innovation. From digital skills and agriculture to healthcare, entrepreneurship, and creative industries, we have launched groundbreaking initiatives across sectors.
Here are some youth-focused initiatives that define this legacy of impact:
🟢 Nigerian Youth Academy (NiYA)
An ambitious national learning platform targeting 7 million youths with practical skills and digital empowerment, aiming to create over 5 million jobs.
🟢 Youth Activities Dashboard
An innovation in transparency and delivery — this digital platform tracks 7,000+ youth programs and projects across all MDAs for visibility and accountability.
🟢 3MTT (3 Million Technical Talent)
One of Africa’s largest tech talent programs, training millions in software development, AI, and cybersecurity to meet local and global digital job demands.
🟢 Digital Literacy for All by NITDA
Part of the Renewed Hope tech vision to make 70% of Nigerians digitally literate by 2027. Already reaching millions with inclusive access to online learning.
🟢 Labour Employment and Empowerment Programme (LEEP)
A bold vision to generate 2.5 million jobs through digital nomad training, skills development, and entrepreneurship across sectors.
🟢 Nigeria Health Fellowship
774 youths — one from each LGA — trained and given automatic employment to strengthen the health workforce and bridge rural healthcare gaps.
🟢 Reimagining Hope Creative Residency
Empowering young creatives in the film, music, fashion, and tech industries through mentorship and structured funding support.
🟢 NextGen Resilience Corps
Youth mobilization initiative to tackle climate change, environmental sustainability, and local innovation.
🟢 CNG-Powered Tricycle Empowerment Scheme
2,000 eco-friendly tricycles distributed to young Nigerians under the Presidential CNG Initiative, creating green jobs and transport solutions.
🟢 YEIDEP – Youth Agro Entrepreneurs Programme
For foodpreneurs and young farmers, providing access to funding, training, and market access in agriculture and agro-allied value chains.
🟢 National Youth Agricultural Scheme (Niger State Pilot)
Empowered 100,000 youth across farming value chains, in collaboration with the Niger State Government.
🟢 Stockholm Junior Water Prize Nigeria
A unique partnership with the Embassy of Sweden encouraging Nigerian teens to innovate in water management and environmental sustainability.
🟢 Yo! Health Youth Initiative
Nationwide campaign mobilizing youth as champions of health and wellness, improving access to information and community outreach.
🟢 Ministry of Steel Development Youth Bootcamp
Training youth in metallurgy, industrial welding, and mechanical design to bridge industrial skill gaps in the steel and construction sectors.
🟢 NDE Renewed Hope Employment Initiative
Over 33,000 youth trained and resettled with starter packs in vocational skills across Nigeria — focused on job creation and SME development.
🟢 AfDB $100 Million Loan for Youth and Women-Led Enterprises
Targeting over 38,000 youth-led businesses with capital and business support. Projected to generate 161,000 direct and 1.4 million indirect jobs.
🟢 SMEDAN Creative & Garment Studios
Equipping young Nigerians in the creative economy and fashion industry with equipment, training, and workspace to start and scale businesses.
🟢 NDDC Youth Entrepreneurship Fund
₦30 billion committed to youth entrepreneurship in the Niger Delta, with programs for incubation, access to finance, and business acceleration.
