| HOW TO APPLY — STEP BY STEP:
1. Register on the NiYA platform at https://niya.gov.ng if you have not already done so. 2. Complete at least one NiYA Academy course — this is a mandatory prerequisite for Pitch 2.0. 3. Prepare your startup pitch: business name, problem being solved, solution, target market, business model, and funding needed. 4. Submit your application through the NiYA Startup portal on the platform or at https://my.nigerianyouthacademy.com 5. Applications are reviewed holistically. Shortlisted teams are notified by email. 6. Shortlisted founders present their ideas at a pitching event (virtual or in-person format). 7. Winners are selected by a panel and receive their share of the ₦100 million fund. NOTE: Updates and key dates are shared on the NiYA Community portal and via official FMYD social media (@NiYA). Completing a NiYA course first is the single most important prerequisite step. |
