NIGERIAN YOUTH HELPDESK

The Nigerian Youth Helpdesk aims to amplify and resolve youth concerns in governance, drive transparency, accountability, and empowerment through credible information, offer a direct, tech-enabled link between youth and government.
ACHIEVEMENT
1. 5,000+ engagements since 2024.
2. Resolved diverse cases, including police matters, scams, mental health concerns, and other public service issues.
3. Improved public trust through prompt and transparent action.
IMPLEMENTATION STAGE
1. Pilot phase in the FCT, addressing complaints from across Nigeria.
2. Help Desk Officers (trained corps members) manage cases and referrals.
3. Partnering with NYSC, Police, Health Ministry, UNODC, and civic groups.
4. Accessible via WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, and phone, with a structured case management system.
