The Office of the Special Assistant to the President on Youth Initiatives (Monitoring & Delivery), Dr. Titilope Gbadamosi in partnership with University Press PLC, is proud to announce the Oyo Youth Skill-Aid Printing & Publishing Training Program.
This initiative is designed to equip young people in Oyo State with hands-on, industry-relevant skills in printing and publishing. As part of the Renewed Hope Agenda, the program focuses on addressing youth unemployment by creating pathways to self-reliance, job creation, and entrepreneurship.
Why Printing & Publishing?
The printing and publishing industry remains a critical driver of communication, education, and creative enterprise. With Nigeria’s growing demand for educational materials, packaging solutions, and knowledge products, trained professionals in this field are in high demand.
By participating in this program, Oyo youths will gain:

- Certificate Course in Graphics Design, Digital Paintng and Publishing
- Certificate Course in Plate Making in Sheet-fed and Web-offset
- Executive Course in Printing Business Management and Entrepreneurship Development
- Certificate Course in Gravure and Flexo-Printing, (3 months)
- Certificate Course in Pre-press Operations (Design, Layout, Color Management) (3 months)
- Certificate Course in Post-press Operations (Finishing, Binding, Packaging) (3 months)
- Certificate Course in Printing Machine Installation and Maintenance.( 6 months)
- Certificate Course in Troubleshooting and Repair (3 months)
- Certificate Course in Printing Workflow Management (3 months)
- Certificate Course in Print Estimating and Costing (3 months)
- Certificate Course in Print Sales and Marketing (3 months)
