| HOW TO APPLY — STEP BY STEP:
1. Visit the platform at https://gigs.niya.gov.ng 2. Click ‘Register as a Freelancer’ (or ‘Register as a Client’ if you want to post jobs). 3. Enter your name, email address, and create a password. 4. Complete your profile: upload a photo, write a short bio, and list your skills and experience. 5. Browse available Gigs posted by clients — filter by category, budget, or timeline. 6. Apply for Gigs that match your skills by submitting a proposal and your quoted rate. 7. Once a client accepts your proposal, complete the work and submit it. Payment is released from escrow upon client approval. NOTE: Registration is free. As of February 2026, over 40,000 Nigerian youth are registered on the platform. Launched by President Tinubu at State House on December 9, 2025. |
